 Ambassador Jovanović meets with Minister of Labour and Social Policy of North Macedonia Jovana Trenchevska

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in North Macedonia Nevena Jovanović met with Minister of Labour and Social Policy of North Macedonia Jovana Trenchevska, and discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the possibilities of cooperation within the Open Balkan Initiative.

Ambassador Jovanović and Minister Trenchevska agreed that the relations between Serbia and North Macedonia were exceptionally good and based on friendship, mutual understanding and trust, and that the Open Balkan Initiative had made the two countries even closer.

Ambassador Jovanović emphasised that Serbia and the Republic of North Macedonia had signed the 2002 Social Security Agreement, and that all social security matters were being successfully addressed in direct communication of the competent institutions.

Minister Trenchevska thanked the Republic of Serbia for the support it had provided in moments of crisis to the Republic of North Macedonia, and congratulated Ambassador Jovanović on the formation of the new Government of Serbia.
